He was born June 9, 1957 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of James Monroe and Bernice Estelle Lemon Teters.
Donny held a passion for security and was a longtime employee of Winans Security of Parkersburg. He was a true outdoorsman, an avid hunter, and especially enjoyed fishing. He was also a veteran, having served our country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two daughters, Alissa Welling (David) and Jessica Teters, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, Donald Teters (Sarah) also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four brothers, Allen Teters (Tammy) of Coeburn, VA, David Teters (Cindy) of Parkersburg, W.Va., James Teters (Tonda) of Washington, W.Va., and Paul Teters also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and four grandchildren, Nicole Sue Teters, Brandy and Ashley Griswold, and Jada Welling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lemley Teters; and an infant twin brother, Tommy Teters.
Committal services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Sandy Runion officiating. Interment will follow services at the cemetery. The Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. is assisting the family with arrangements
