Lisa Christine Bruning (Harmon) of Japan, Missouri, was born to Walter J. Harmon Jr., and Isabelle M. Harmon (Naro) on July 24, 1964 in Kirkwood, Missouri and passed away December 23, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Lisa was christened on August 16, 1964 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold,Missouri. Her family moved to Leasburg, Missouri in 1973 and she attended the Bourbon School District. She was baptized again on August 4, 1996 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Ridgetop, Tennessee.
Lisa was fond of birds. She was known as the "chicken whisperer." She also had two green thumbs. She enjoyed fishing, was a passionate chef and a disgruntled archeologist and a St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Lisa was first joined in marriage to Kenny Bloodworth and three children were born to this union.

Lisa returned to her Leasburg home where she met David Paul Bruning. On February 12, 2000, they were married.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter J. Harmon, Sr., Helen M. Harmon (Grueber), Joseph Naro and Isabelle M. Naro (Pino); mother-in-law, Marcie L. Bruning (Schaefer), father-in-law, Lawrence E. Bruning and nephew, Keith M. Harmon.

She is survived by her parents, Walter J. and Isabelle M. Harmon of Leasburg, Missouri; husband, David Paul Bruning of the home; son, Jacob Hunter Bloodworth of the home; daughters, Rachel Ann Bloodworth and partner Scott Martin of Whitehouse, Tennessee and Lauren Marie Bloodworth and partner Casey Hodgin of Franklin, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Mary Jane Bruning and partner Paul Watson of Leasburg, Missouri; sisters and brothers, Walter Harmon, Jr. and wife Betty of High Ridge, Missouri, Steve Harmon and wife Linda of Sullivan, Missouri, Patrick Harmon and wife Judy of Hillsboro, Missouri, Kevin Harmon and wife Karen of Hillsboro, Missouri, Kathleen Parnell and husband Lyle Terrence Parnell of Bourbon, Missouri and Kenneth Harmon and wife Tammy of Leasburg, Missouri; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Robin Bruning and wife Debbie of Leasburg, Missouri, Jeffrey Bruning and wife Jill of Leasburg, Missouri, Lori Philpot and husband Joe of Sullivan, Missouri, Douglas Bruning and wife Cindy of Leasburg, Marcy Cartmill and husband Craig of Edmond, Oklahoma, Evette Nolie and husband Bob of Sullivan, Missouri, Dustin O'Hanlon and wife Amber of Elwood, Nebraska, Kaleb O'Hanlon of Lexington, Nebraska, Jaycob O'Hanlon of Lexington, Nebraska and Amber O'Hanlon of Coalville, Utah; grandson, Shawn Allen McWilliams; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the InJoy Christian Fellowship in Leasburg, Missouri
