Mrs. Lena M. Blaylock, 89, died Tuesday, April 17, at Community Hospital in Onaga after a long illness.
Mrs. Blaylock was a cook at the hospital for many years.
She was born Feb. 19, 1895, near St. Clere, the daughter of George Franklin and Lucina Bowers Page. She lived at the St. Clere community until 1937 when she moved to Onaga.
Mrs. Baylock was a member of the Art and Needle Club at Onaga 36 years. She also was a member of the Ladies Aid at the Congregational Church in Onaga.
She was married to Charles R. Blaylock of St. Clere Nov. 2, 1916, at Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Blanche DeGraw, Topeka; a son Charles H. Blaylock, Harrisonville, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Arrilda Smith, Topeka; two step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m.; Thursday at Tessendorf Mortuary in Onaga. Burial to be in St. Clere Cemetery north of Emmett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation and set in care of the funeral home.
