Monroe County News Union, June 1. - Mrs Linnie S McClung, wife of J C Mclung, departed this life May 19, at Long Beach, Calif, of complicated stomach trouble. Mrs McClung was the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward J Nickell and was born near Hillsdale, Monroe county, Dec 23, 1855, and was united in marriage to J C McClung Oct 10, 1878. She is survived by her husband, one son, Otey McClung of San Diego, Cal; one daughter, Mrs Effie M Albert of Birmingam, Ala, one sister, Mrs Relda E Walkup, of Long Beach, Cal; two brothers, C E Nickell of Claude, Texas, and Clarence Nickell, of Monroe county, W Va.
