Agnes Maria Cordon was born 14 March 1889 in Rigby, Jefferson*, Idaho, USA. She was 3rd of the eight children born to George Albert Cordon (1860-1944) and Sally Agnes [Call] Cordon (1858-1955). Siblings: Alfred Call Cordon (1883-1965), Omer Samuel Cordon (1885-1969), Mabel Emily [Cordon] Later (1891-1991), Sarah Nancy [Cordon] Sorensen (1893-1967), George Albert Cordon (1896-1963), Herbert Elihu Cordon (1898-1899) and Clarence Heber Cordon (1901-1979). She married James Drummond Hoggan on 5 May 1909 in Logan, Cache, Utah. They became the parents of 10 children: Iola Hoggan (1912-1977), Drummond C Hoggan (1914-1975), Margaret [Hoggan] Coleman (1916-2013), Cleo Agnes [Hoggan] Rose (1917-1987), Frances [Hoggan Rich] (1919-1994), Georgia [Hoggan] Taylor (1921-2011), Adele [Hoggan] Dey (1923-2006), James Cordon Hoggan (1927-2001, George Hoggan and Marie [Hoggan] Gosch. She worked as chief operator of the telephone exchange in Rigby until she resigned from that job in September of 1908 at the ripe old age of 19 years. Agnes served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of which she was a member.
She passed away on 4 May 1971 in Burley, Cassia, Idaho.
