Multi-talented musician; TV director, script writer, producer; documentary and ad producer. In his first career, Mickey played saxophone in the band of his famous, drum-playing brother Buddy Rich. He went on to directing, producing, and writing for television. His credits include working on "Car 54, Where Are You?", "Charlie's Angels", and the mini-series "East of Eden". His later work centered on producing documentaries and TV commercials. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Rich. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bess (Skolnick) Rich and his brother Bernard "Buddy" Rich.
