Wilma Jean Mixon, 85, of Hillister, Texas, passed away April 29, 2012.
Born July 12, 1926 in Gallatin, Texas to Hugh and Lillie Walker Pouland.
She lived in Tyler County for over thirty years. She was a member of the Woodville Church of Christ and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Mixon, Jr. and a son, James Randolph Mixon.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Jean and Charlie Gray of Woodville; grandsons, Roger Gray and wife, Devon of Pflugerville and Jason Gray of Houston; great grandchildren, Hannah Gray and Conner Gray. A graveside service was held Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
