DENVER -- Mrs. Ballard, age 75, of 3943 Jasmine Lane, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 24, 2006.
Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 26, at Denver United Methodist Church with burial to follow in church cemetery. Rev. Jeff Johnson and Rev. Tim Killian will be officiating. The family will receive friends 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service, at the church.
Mrs. Ballard was born June 1, 1931 in Catawba County to the late Wilson and Kathleen Sigmon Lineberger. She is also preceded in death by her husband, W.C. 'Bill' Ballard; one son, Phil Ballard; one brother, Bobby Lineberger; and one sister, Janie Laney.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy McLawhorn of Denver; one brother, Benny Lineberger of Catawba; two sisters, Jerry Goforth of Conover, and Jewell Settlemyre of Sherrills Ford; two granddaughters, Anna McLawhorn and Ashley McLawhorn of Denver; and one grandson, Wes McLawhorn of Denver.
