Fred C. Jackson, 75, of Parker, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born January 10, 1929, in Parker, to Frederick Clark and Annie Breta Karlson Jackson. He grew up in Parker and attended Parker and St. Anthony schools. He graduated from high school in 1947. He also attended Ricks College. He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve from 1953 until 1961 as a PFC and MP. He married Joyce Terry October 23, 1953, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Parker and Kilgore and Staten Island, N.Y. He worked for Remington Produce, Orme Cattle Company and was self-employed. A member of the LDS Church he served a mission in the North Central United states, as a teacher, twice as Scoutmaster and as a counselor and clerk in Ward bishoprics and at Ricks College. He served as a city councilman and as a director in the Cattlemen’s Association. He enjoyed painting, carpentry, ranching, traveling and fishing. He was an honest, forthright and honorable man. He is survived by his wife of Parker, children, Diane Ryan F. (Lesa) Jackson and Royce C. (Mary) Jackson, both of Rexburg, Brendon T. (Ashley) Jackson and Denise (Ty) Klinger, both of Parker; sisters, Leona Helvin of Orem Utah and Jeneal Rasmussen of Parker and 11 grandchildren.
