David Lee Cornette

David Lee Cornette, 48, of Indianapolis, former Connersville resident, died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana.

He was born January 25, 1963 in Fayette County, Indiana, the son of Sam and Marjorie Poe Cornette.

A graduate of Connersville High School, he attended Purdue University and earned a Pharmacist Degree.

He was employed at Saint Francis Hospital as a Pharmacist.

On September 8, 2010 he was married to Bernice Yee Ashley.

During his leisure he enjoyed reading and watching movies.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Ashley, his mother, Marjorie Cornette, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Sally Cornette, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Cornette.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family, with Revered James Gay officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, where he was laid to rest beside his father.

Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
