Edison Dale Anderson, 90, of Wesley, passed away in Brenham on Thursday, April 26, 2012, after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.

Dale was born in Saratoga, Arkansas. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he came to Houston where he was a longtime employee of Brown & Root, Inc.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Edith; daughter, Rhonda Demel and husband, Dennis; son, Ron Anderson; grandchildren, Katherine Demel, Monica Cable and husband, Greg, Krista Moran and husband, Gregg, Lauren Spriggs and husband, Jason, and Ryan Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Edward Moffett; and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
