Survivors include his wife, Jay Belch of Astor; sons, Jim Robbins of Ocala and Fred Belch Sr. of Palatka; step-son, Anthony Cranke of Eustis; daughter, Susan McDonald of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Ed Belch of Waycross, Ga.; sisters, Sue Pearson of Salt Springs, Maxine Williams of Jacksonville, and Myrtle Kimball of Savannah, Ga.; former wife, Sara Hancock; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
