Louise Newbanks, 88, of Greeley, CO died Thursday, October 9, 2003, at Centennial Health Care Center. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Macy Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Louise was born November 17, 1914 in Independence, Kansas to Frank P. and Clara (Vance) Adamson. She married Noble Newbanks on January 6, 1938 in Boulder, and he preceded her in March 1990. They had been married for 52 years. She moved to Greeley when she was a young child and attended the Campion Academy in Loveland, CO. She was a unit manager and handled sales for Stanley Home Products. She later became a field interviewer for Gallup Polls and Colorado Market Research. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Greeley. She enjoyed sewing, making clothes for her children, was active in the senior center exercise classes and enjoyed walking and traveling with her husband. Her daughters, Marlene and husband Larry Leach of Moyia Spring, ID and Jan and her husband Walt Reagin of Willowstreet, PA; sister, Ruth Wonenberg of Greeley, CO; grandsons, Robert and Rick Etherton; granddaughter, Laura and her husband Mark Mathias; and nine great grandchild survive her. Her parents, husband and son, Wales Norman Newbanks preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO 80631.
