Graveside services for Mr. Danny Ray "Dr. Dan" Calder, 66 of Grand Saline are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2012 at Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Mr. Calder passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at his home. He was born August 23, 1944 in Grand Saline to George & Lucille Miller Washington Calder, Jr. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he was a Master Mason and member of Masonic Lodge 1269, and also served as a volunteer fireman with the Grand Saline Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Calder Jr. and brother, Bobby Lynn Calder.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Brenda Calder of Grand Saline; his mother, Lucille Calder of Grand Saline; three daughters and sons-in-law, Christie & Gary Nations, Sheri & Thomas Roach and Janet Calder, all of Grand Saline; sister, Mary Janet Sharp of Palestine; and five grandchildren, Dustin Nations and fiancé Tianna Smith, Taylor Nations, Brandon Nations, Sarah Roach and Josh Roach.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
