Funeral will be Thursday, February 5 at 2 p.m. at Wilkerson Hurford Chapel of the Valley in Hillsboro for Maude Hilda Parks, 80, who died January 31 at the Hillaire Nursing Home. She had been a resident of Washington for 49 years.

The Rev. Richard Braem of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Aloha will officiate and interment will be in Forest View Cemetery, Forest Grove.

Mrs. Parks was born February 14, 1889 at Stevensville, Montana. She was married December 17, 1910 at Missoula to Harry O. Parks. The couple farmed in the Sherwood, Cornelius, and Dilley areas for a number of years. Mrs. Parks was a past member of the Forest Hills Extension Club of Cornelius. Mr. Parks died in January, 1956.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Marie Kusch of Aloha, Mrs. Dorothy Hanks of Roseburg and a son Raleigh Parks of Seattle; also 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
