SHAPS CHAPEL, Feb. 9 - Mrs. Mattie Browning, 43, of Fountain City, died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Whited, here. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Union Baptist church of which she was a member, conducted by the Rev. J. E. Hurst.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Browning, of Fountain City; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. A. R. Palmer and Mrs. Milt Miller, and a brother, Z. P. Whited, of Sharps Chapel.
