Hindrikje Blink emigrated between very probably 1852 and 1859 to the USA, Illinois, Cook County, just south of Chicago, likely with her parents and her brothers Hindrik (Henry), Klaas (Klaus, Claus) and Barteld (Bartel) Blink. The latter immigrated in 1856.

In 1870 Henerika (34, Holland), her husband Irwin [Arij] Anker (44, Holland, farmer), their children William (10, Illinois), Henirich (7, Illinois), Peter (5, Illinois), Nicholas (3, Illinois) and William Blank (66, Holland) [Henerika's father] lived at an own farm, worth $2500, in the Dutch truck farmers setttlement South Holland, just south of Chicago, seat of Thornton Township, Cook County, Illinois.
Right next to them Irwin's brother Nicholas Anker (36, Holland, farmer), his wife Anna (32, Holland) and their children Mena (9, llinois), Airai (5, Illinois) and Nelly (2, Illinois) lived at an own farm too, worth $2500. Next to her brother-in-law Nicholas her father-in-law William Anker (72 y, born in Holland, farmer), her mother-in-law Wilemenka (70, Holland), her siblings-in-law William (42, Holland), Cornelius (32, Holland), Gertrude (30, Holland) and Peter (26, Holland) Anker lived at an own farm too, worth $12000.

Her husband Arie Anker died in November 1894 at the age of 70 years in South Holland, seat of Thornton Township, Cook County, Illinois. Widow Hendrijke died there too in May 1910 at the age of 75 years.
