MRS. JOSEPH D. HARDESTY, 921 Iola Road, died Monday at St. Matthews Manor. She was the former Irene Spalding, a native of Lebanon, a former motel operator in Indiana and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists and Colonial Dames. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Price of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Paulie Clark; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 512 Breckenridge Lane, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
