Howard Jordan was the son of Robert L. Jordan and Blanche W. Jordan in the Lake Swamp Community of Darlington County. He graduated from Lake Swamp High School and Columbia Business College in Columbia, SC. Mr. Jordan was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He retired as a salesman with Borden Chemicals and was a long time member of Pine Grove Methodist Church in Darlington County.
