Gale Dixon , 89, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012.

Memorial Service: 10:30am, Saturday, April 7th at Clearwater United Methodist Church.

Gale was born November 1, 1922 in Milan, Kansas. He was the last of three children born to his parents William and Mary Alice (Pearce) Dixon. Gale retired from Boeing as a Tool Design Engineer. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was stationed in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe where he was awarded four bronze stars among other recognitions. He then enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve serving in Korea for four years.
On October 31, 1953, Gale was united in marriage to Mary Maxine Porter in Wichita, Kansas.
He was a member of Clearwater United Methodist Church.
Gale was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Alice (Pearce) Dixon; wife, Maxine; brother, Albert Dixon, and sister, Ruth Merritt. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Emberson of Clearwater, Joy Day of New Manchester, WV, and Karen Loftus of Corona, CA; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
