Mr. Pugh died Wednesday, September 15, 1999, at a local hospital. He was a retired carpenter.
He was born July 22, 1917, in Jackson, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Burleson Lodge #649, AF&AM for over 50 years, and Carpenter's Local #429. He had been a resident of Johnson County for 73 years and was a member of the Baptist church.
Mr. Pugh is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Sue Pugh of Burleson, George and Maisie Pugh of Eufala, Alabama, and brother, Joe Pugh of Alvarado; and sister, Hattie Pugh of Burleson.
The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
