Lynnettee Louise Keller, 41, and her daughter, Kaylene Nichole Keller, 18, died from a tragic event at their home in North Bend, Wash. Both women were vivacious and creative individuals who will be missed deeply by their family and many friends. Lynnettee Louise Rocha Keller was born in Pomona, Calif., along with her twin brother. She spent her early childhood in Laguna Hills, Calif., before moving with her family to Oregon where she graduated from Aloha High School in 1989. Lynnettee spent her adult life in Washington. An accomplished artist/craftsperson working in the scrapbooking field, Lynnettee had a talent for combining colors and textures in her art; she loved cooking traditional Mexican food and played a mean game of the card game "Push".

Kaylene Nichole Keller was born in Portland, Ore., and moved with family to Washington State at an early age. A graduate from Mount Si High School in North Bend in 2011, Kaylene was a strong student who cared passionately about nature and the environment, baked cookies that could tempt anyone off a diet and loved to spend time in the outdoors with her friends and her beloved dog. Kaylene also had an avid interest in computer gaming technology and was currently attending college.

Both women are survived by their family, father/grandfather, Albert Rocha; mother/grandmother, Lupe Vasquez-Lewis; brother/uncle, Gene Rocha; sister/aunt, Kimberly Rocha-Pearson; grandfather/great-grandfather, Jesus Vasquez; stepfather/stepgrandfather, Fletcher Lewis; father-in-law/grandfather, Pete Keller; mother-in-law/grandmother, Irene Keller; Kaylene's companion, Carson Brammer; sister-in-law/aunt, Rebekah Rocha; brother-in-law/uncle, Randel Pearson; and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A family memorial service was held Saturday, May 5, 2012.

A memorial/scholarship fund has been set up by the Rocha family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynnettee Rocha Keller and Kaylene Keller's names at any BECU Branch.
