Audrey Cynthia Bliss, 70, of Park Hill, Broad Brook Section of East Windsor, died Sunday, (April 21, 2002) at Kettle Brook Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20, 1931 in Hartford, lived in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, and later in Somers for many years before moving to Broad Brook two years ago. Prior to her retirement in December 1999, she was employed at Somers Elementary School for 12 years, and was previously employed in the Housekeeping Department at Johnson Memorial Hospital.She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Enfield. Audrey is survived by a son, Raymond E. "Jimmy" Bliss and his wife Marie of Enfield; five daughters, Robin Graham and her husband Kevin of Stafford, Nancy Caldwell and her husband Greg of Cooper City, FL, Cynthia Williams and her husband Gary of Springfield, MA, Linda Hunt and her fiance David McCarthy of Enfield, and Penny Costas of East Windsor; a brother, Thornton Young of Enfield; two sisters, Irma McDonald of Hartford, and Beverly Young of Hartford; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25, 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Hazardville, with burial to follow at Somers Center Cemetery, Somers.
