Charlie Jake Anderson, 73, died at his residence in Kountz, TX, Tuesday, May 27, 2003. He was a native of Tattnall County. He had lived in Kountz 23 years and was a retired electrician for Biscamp Electrical and Broun & Root Construction. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Anderson of Kountz, TX; one daughter, Linda Pelzer of Deer Park, TX; one son, Charlie Anderson of Deer Park, TX; one brother, Jeff Anderson of Manassas; two sisters, Queen Sikes of Ft. Myers, FL, and Mollie McCall of Reidsville; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Broussard's Funeral Home in Kountz, TX. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery in Pasadena, TX, with Military Rites at graveside.
