Leslie K. Duncan, 87, husband of Nora Arnold Duncan, died Sunday May 13, 2007 at his residence. Born in Woodford County August 20, 1919 he was the son of the late Henry H. and Lutie Ockerman Duncan. Mrs. Duncan was retired from the U. S. Postal Service having worked at the Midway Post Office. He was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church and was a World War II Veteran having served in the U. S. Army. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Gail Mayeux of Franklin County, his sons, Kenneth Duncan of Lexington, Glenn Alvin Duncan of Midway and Marl Ellis Duncan of Lexington; three sisters, Viola Flora of Frankfort, Lida Spencer of Midway and Betty Hall of Lexington; two brothers, Joe Duncan of Lexington and Emmett Duncan of Nicholasville; five granchildren; and four great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel McGaughey and Hallie Crocker, and one brother, Howard Duncan.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Wednesday May 16, 2007 at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles Road, with Rev. Valerie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Midway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am Wednesday until service time. Casketbearers will be Leo Ginter, Michael Hartley, Michael Johnson, Michael Slinker, Harold Fuson and Robert Settlemyer. Honorary casketbearers will be Bennie Jenkins, Charles Leigh and Ronnie Ward. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
