LEO A. POPE, 63, of Rt. 1, Fairplay, died at the Washington County Hospital on Tuesday. He was born in Hagerstown, the son of Randolph and Pora Allison Pope.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church at Bakersville and the District 12 Ruritan Club. He had been employed at Pangborn Corp. for 22 years and was a member of UAW-CIO Local 842.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Catherne Harne Pope; two brothers, George N. Ridgley and Edgar Ridgley, both of Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. William Reilly, Menominee, Michigan.
Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
