Services are pending at the Runge mortuary for Katherine E. Miller, 88, of 112 S. Lincoln Ave., who died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Germany, May 9, 1867, she attended schools there and came to America at 17 to Glidden, Ia. She was married to John M. Miller in 1885 and came to Davenport in 1898. He died Aug 12, 1913. She was a member of St. Mark's Luteran Church.
Survivors include three sons, Adolph, Davenport, August, Modesto, Calif., and John, Oakland, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Black, Davenport, and Mrs. Jason Young, Arlington, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
