Doris Ann Ancira, 66, retired AISD employee, passed away on April 20, 2012 at her home in Elgin, Texas. Doris was born on November 30, 1945 in Burnet, Texas.

What Doris loved and most valued in her life was family. Doris is survived by her mother, Joanna Schulze, her brother, Gary Gillum, and her sister, Lori Schiller. She is also survived by her 4 daughters and their husbands:

• Rhonda Norris and her husband William Norris
• Jamie Mont and her husband Eugene Mont
• Donna Clifton and her husband Todd Clifton
• Candice Laidley and her husband Charlie Laidley

and her ten wonderful grandchildren who loved their "Mega":
• Christopher Hochstetler
• Brandon Hochstetler
• Amber Hochstetler
• John Matthew Hochstetler
• Jonathan Laidley
• Cara Laidley
• Natasha Norris
• Nicholas Norris
• Addison Laidley
• Hailey Clifton

Second to being a mother and grandmother, Doris loved to create, much of the time using her artistic abilities to make her own decorations. Her sense of style can be seen as you look around her home. Also, Doris valued the life-long friends you made while working at AISD.

We are honored to have John Gillum, our cousin, lead us in a celebration of Doris' life. Arrangements have been made with Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 3125 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas
