HONEA PATH, Jan. 12 - Mrs. Sallie S. Branyon, 56, died at her home suddenly last night at 9:15 o'clock. She was the wife of J. L. Branyon and the daughter of the late J. N. and Lou Tucker Shirley. She is survived by her husband, two sons, James N. and William E. Branyon; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah B. Rogers and Miss Ruth Branyon; four brothers, Dr. J. B., S. B., T. A. and H. B. Shirley; six sisters, Mrs. Furman Mitchell, Mrs. H. B. Mitchell, Mrs. J. A. Robinson, Mrs. O. E Gassaway, Mrs. Tom Jones and Miss Coratine Shirley. She was a member of the Honea Path Baptist church. Interment will be in the East View cemetery.
