Elmer J. Bosserd
---Elmer J. Bosserd of Verona Road, died at 2:16 o'clock this morning in Oaklawn hospital, where he had been a patient since Friday.
---He was born in Marengo, Jan. 17, 1883, the son of Samuel and Alma (Griffin) Bosserd, and remained on the family farm until he reached the age of 33. He then became associated with the J. I. Case Machine Co. in Lansing for eight years and was employed by the Porter Barn Equipment Co. in Ottawa, Ill., for six years. He was superintendent of the central district for the county road commission for several years, and for the last few years had done carpentry, in Marshall and vicinity.
---Mr. Bosserd was a member of St. Alban's lodge, F. & A.M., Lafayette Chapter, R.A.M. and was a past commander of the Marshall Commandary of the Masons.
---Surviving are two brothers, Clarence A. Bosserd of Marshall and George S. Bosserd of Marengo; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Withee of Marengo and Mrs. Charles Alexander of Clarence township and several niece and nephews.
---Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Kelser funeral home with Rev. W. R. Brown officiating. Interment will be made at Cemetery Crossing, with the Masonic lodge in charge.
---Friends may call at the Kelser funeral home.

---Funeral services for Elmer J. Bosserd of Verona road, who died Wednesday morning at Oaklawn hospital after an illness of several days, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Kelser funeral home with Rev. Warren E. Brown officiating.
---The Masonic lodge was in charge of burial services at the grave in Cemetery Crossing cemetery. Casketbearers wee William Winsper, Leon Tolhurst, Claude Ruess, Douglas O'Leary, Arlo Sanders and Robert Evans.
