Harriet W. Miller, 84, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late George E. Miller, Jr. and the late Philip Lewis, Sr.

Born October 10, 1927 in York, she was the daughter of the late William Curvin and Helen Louise (Shue) Bowman.

Harriet retired in 1989 from P.A. & S. Small. Following her retirement, she worked part time in the cafeteria at Eastern York High School and as a cook for Almost Home Child Care. She was a member of AARP.

Harriet was survived by three daughters, Cheryl Brown of York, Lisa Haugh of Hellam, and Darla Kohler of Wrightsville; two sons, Philip Lewis, Jr. of Dallastown and Jack Lewis of York; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Vincent Brown and Barry Everhart; and three sisters, Nancy Binkley, Joann Ritter, and Judith Alfano. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jean Lewis and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
