TYNER - Annie Byrum Winslow, 81, of Tyner, died Oct. 24, 1993, in the Brian Center Nursing Home in Hertford.
A native of Chowan County, Mrs. Winslow was the daughter of the late George and Doris Byrum. She was the wife of the late Norman N. Winslow. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, Suffolk.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Winslow of Blackstone, Va., and Bill Winslow of Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Clara Mae Evans of Edenton and Mary E. Roberson of Tyner; five brothers, Velva Byrum of Hyde Park, N.Y., Leon Byrum and Eugene Byrum, both of Tyner, McIver Byrum of Winfall, and Selbry Byrum of Gates County, N.C.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in the Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, by the Rev. Donald Wagner. Williford-Barham Funeral Home, Edenton, is in charge of arrangements. The family is receiving friends at the residence of Eugene Byrum, Happy Home Road, Tyner.
