Agency, April 20.- W. Y. Reynolds, 76 years old, passed away at 7:15 a.m. today at his home one-half mile west of Agency. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Reynolds and the following children: Mrs. Lela Wood, of Roseville, Calif.; Mrs. Nina Carmody, of Chicago; and Harry Reynolds, of San Francisco. He is also survived by two step-children, Mrs. Chet Reynolds of Davenport [Iowa] and Will Gillis of Portland, Ore.
Burial will be made in Monmouth, Ill., though the funeral arrangements will not be completed until word is received from relatives living on the west coast.
[Ottumwa Courier, Ottumwa, IA, April 20, 1931]

Note:
Apparently family lore was in error and this person is buried in SUGAR TREE GROVE CEMETERY, Warren Co., IL. Changing his burial place to the correct one is a laborious task and I give up! It looks to me like Find a Grave just adds a second memorial.
