Central, SC—Ruby Lusk Rogers, 85, of 221 Sanders Road, Central, SC, wife of the late John Seaborn Rogers Sr., died Monday, September 6, 2010, at Seneca Health and Rehab.
A native of Salem, SC, Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late William David (Billy) and Ellen Young Lusk. She was retired from Central Textile and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Central, SC.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by son, John S. Rogers Jr. of Central, SC; daughter, Martha R. Blackwell and her husband, Johnny, also of Central; sisters, Dora Rogers of Salem, SC and Mary Moss of Seneca, SC; grandson Justin S. Rogers of Central, SC; and step-granddaughter, Lisa Putnam of Taylors, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from Freedom Fellowship, Central, SC, with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
