Betty M. (Brunory) Albrighton, 83, of Port Vue, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Industry, the daughter of the late Angelo and Anna (Martinelli) Brunory; and was also preceded in death by her brother, William Brunory. Betty was a graduate of McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing, a retired registered nurse for McKeesport Hospital and also worked for Mon-Yough Mental Health. She was an active member of Port Vue United Methodist Church. Serving the church's food pantry was her joy and passion. Surviving are her husband, C. William Albrighton; daughters, Rae Anne (John) Bosnyak, of Cranberry Township, and Diane "Dee Dee" (Blase) Bartko, of Port Vue; grandchildren, Grant (Stacey) Bartko, of Liberty Borough, Whitney Bosnyak, of Pittsburgh, and Paige Bosnyak, of Cranberry Township; also nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the RALPH L. JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, 3411 Wood St., Buena Vista, 412-751-6481. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in Port Vue United Methodist Church with Pastor Josephine Whitley-Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
