Joseph Glennon "P.J." Pashia of Festus, Missouri formerly of Washington County Missouri, was born on Tuesday, August 22, 1961 in Crystal City, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Crystal City, Missouri. Joseph was united in marriage to Brenna Marie Jones on May 1, 1981 in Union, Missouri and they were blessed with one son.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Mary Theresa Coleman of Cadet, Missouri; father and stepmother, Charles Glennon Pashia and wife, Darlene T. of Fenton, Missouri; son, Joseph Robert Pashia of Wilkes-Barr, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Geraldine Carlotta Hart and husband, James of Imperial, Missouri, Rosemary Darlene Arechederra and husband, Nicholas of Fenton, Missouri; two brothers, Dwight David Pashia and wife, Kathy of New Caney, Texas, Christopher Gerard Pashia and wife, Erin of Cadet, Missouri; grandmother, Mary C. Charboneau of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving is special friend, Donna Sansoucie and her children, Amy and Cody Sansoucie, Phil Pashia, Donnie Battreal, John and Tom Wilson, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles T. Coleman.
Joseph was baptized on September 3, 1961 at St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri. He made his first communion on May 5, 1968 and was later confirmed May 16 at St. Joachim Catholic School, Old Mines, Missouri. Joseph received his last rites on April 17, 2012 by Father Ted Pieper and Father Joe Wormek from Sacred Heart Parish April 23, 2012 and was also visited by Deacon Bill Rodgers of the Cadet Baptist Church on April 25, 2012.
Joseph was a member of the Old Mines, Missouri Boy Scout Troop # 454 with Scout Master Mr. David Boyer. Joseph graduated 8th Grade from St. Joachim Catholic School, Old Mines and was also a 1979 graduate of Potosi High School. Joseph then graduated from Ditch Witch and Customer Service School October 27, 1985. He then went on to attend Bailey Technical School in St. Louis, Missouri and worked as a mechanic for Norman Wilson Trucking. He was a very good and hard working mechanic. Before his accident he loved to ride and fix motorcycles and racecars. He enjoyed watching television, movies and listening to all types of music. Joseph will be forever remembered by his loving family and friends.
