Contrary to the content of her obituary, all available records indicate she was born in Austria and emigrated directly to Canada with her family in 1905, settling first in Winnipeg, then following her first husband between 1916 and 1921 with her young family to the RM of Viscount, SK, where they farmed NE-17-36-25-W2 (near 52.096598,-105.533234) until Edward's passing in 1944.
The date of her second marriage to Frank Rabner is not known at this time, but she is recorded as "Mrs Victoria Rabner" on a voters list in 1958.
