Reuben Anhalt, 53, of 74 Lincoln St., Chilton, WI died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1958 at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after being ill for the past six weeks. Born in the Town of Russell, Sheboygan County, on July 18, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Anhalt, he attended St. Mary's parochial school and Chilton High School and was employed by the Instant Milk Co., at Chilton for many years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Church.
On Sept. 4, 1929, he was married to Ina Ortlieb at St. Augustine Catholic Church at Chilton.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Carol) Meyer of the Town of Chilton; two sons, Steven of Milwaukee, and Paul at home; his father, John Anhalt of Chilton; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Mayer of Chilton and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home at Chilton, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday, and the rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8 p.m.
