Walter Gray, 88, of 4115 Cassidy Rd., Gladwin, died Sunday, March 29, in the Gladwin Area Hospital.
Born in Gladwin County Sept. 22, 1898, he spent most of his life here. Mr. Gray was a butcher for 60 years and operated Gray's Meat Plant in Skeels.
Mr. Gray and the former Lena Tash were married June 20,1936, in Bay City. She preceded him in death June 26, 1977.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Briggs officiated and burial was in the Skeels Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 4-1/1987 Column - 3 Page - 2.
