Larry Smithson
Larry Smithson, 30, of Texline died at 10:30 am Tuesday in West Texas Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Services were to be at 9 a m Wednesday in Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, Jimmy Jividen, minister of Hillcrest Church of Christ was to officiate.
The body was taken to the Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home in Dalhart where services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday in Texline Church of Christ. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery.
Born March 1, 1945 in Dalhart he was graduated from high school there. He married Vicki Reagan Nov. 24, 1982 {sic} in Texline. Mr. Smithson was a member of Texline Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, two children, Lori and Bobbie Lynn, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foy Smithson of 2449 Garfield; a brother, Clauson, of Madill, Okla.; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lula Smithson.
