Eugene Ambrose Joyce, 83, a 30-year resident of Pawling and formerly a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at home. Mr. Joyce served in the United States Army during World War II. He was born on Aug. 5, 1919 in New York City. On April 18, 1963 in Pawling, he married Margaret Diederichs. Mrs. Joyce survives at home. In addition to his wife, survivors include a brother, Ray Flynn of New York City, and a sister, Eileen Kelly of Saratoga; nephews, Patrick, William, and Thomas Joyce, Dennis and Robert Clum; nieces, Eileen Sage, Patricia Buck, Ellen Joyce, Mary Underhill, Laura Heymann, and Dolores Serra.
