Obituary—Susan Elizabeth Stanton died at the home of her son Willard Stanton in Monticello, at six o'clock Monday morning of rheumatism, after an illness of five years, the last eight months of which she was helpless in bed. She was 70 years old. Deceased was born in Lebanon Lake, Sullivan county, a daughter of James and Nancy Sackett. About 50 years ago, she married George G. Stanton, and a short time after went from Lebanon Lake to Starlight, N. Y., where Mr. Stanton died thirteen years ago. Mrs. Stanton is survived by four children: Carrie, wife of Joseph Covart of Dixon, Ill; John Stanton, of Port Jervis; Willard of Monticello, and Wallace of Mongaup Valley; three brothers William Sackett, of Monticello; James Sackett of Wilkesbarre, Pa., and George Sackett, of White Haven, Pa; one sister, Martha Sackett, of Monticello. Mitchell, undertaker.
