Eldest daughter of William Elihue Hatchett and Susan Fisher Thomas. Della married Robert Anderson (Bob) Holliday on May 21, 1895, and had three sons and seven daughters. Althought she stood only 4' 10" tall she raised this large family without the benefit of electricity or running water. She planted a large garden, harvested and preserved food for her family, sold butter and eggs to her neighbors. What strength she must have possesed.
