OBITUARY.
Woodford W. Bohon was born in Marion county, Mo., April 10, 1873, and died in the prime of his youthful manhood at his father's residence, after a protracted illness, aged 30 years and 12 days. His previous bodily strength and vigor were emblematic of like traits in his moral and religious character. In his early manhood he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and united with the New Providence Presbyterian church, and he "adorned the doctrine" which he professed.
He was married Feb. 18th, 1897, to Miss Anna Mary McElroy, who with their son, Oscar Wade, now nearly 4 years of age, live to mourn his death, a sad one to them, but a hopeful one in view of his union with Christ as "the resurrection and the life" everlasting.
Woodford had many friends who showed hum many kindnesses and during his illness and sorrowfully attended his funeral. After a sermon on me text "The Lord is My Light," Ps. 27:1, by the pastor of his youth, Rev. T. H. Tatlow, he was buried in the New Providence cemetery attended by the concourse of interested and sympathetic relatives and friends that assembled there at a burial.—T. H. T.
