The funeral rites for Mrs. Abbie Johnson, who died in Detroit (sic) Sunday afternoon, will be held at the Benbow Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon following the arrival of the remains at that place. Rev. S. H. Hardy will conduct the services. After the services the burial will take place in the Presbyterian cemetery there. Mrs. Johnson was born in Lewis county May 26, 1852 (sic), but soon moved with her parents, to this county, where she made her home for many years. For a time she resided in this city. Recently she has been living in Detroit and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Celia Derkies, following a short illness. The deceased is survived by eight children: Mrs. Derkies, Mrs. C. E. Rift, Mrs. Reida Bush, and G. P. Johnson, of Detroit, Mrs. Estellah Curtis, of Flint, Mich., R. W. Johnson, of Greeley, Colorado, Hobart Johnson of Quincy, and Walter D. Johnson, of this city. She is also survived by three brothers, Will, Lige and Ben Clow, and a sister, Mrs. Nora Dennis, all of Quincy.
