Jay Russell Hill, 57, of Kittanning RD 6 (Rayburn Township) died at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 14, 1920 in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Fred and Margaret (McGragor) Hill. Hill was a retired glassworker at PPG Indrustries, Ford City, and a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Kittanning. Survivors include: his wife, the former Marion L. Burdy; two sons, William C. and Arnold L. both of Santa Ana, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Diane) Lattanzio of Kittanning; a brother, Harold F. of Kittanning RD 5; and seven grandchildren. HILL –Friends of Jay Russell Hill, who died Sept. 25, 1977, will be received after 7 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the John R. Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Harold L. Hess, pastor of St. Luke's United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by Kennedy.
