Birty Lee Pitcock Sparks, 62, Rt.#1, Pattonville, died Tuesday, August 15, 1995, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 17, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. L.C. Stout officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and will be at 1310 N. Collegiate Dr.

Mrs. Sparks was born March 25, 1933, in Petty, a daughter of William Nathaniel Shoemake and Mary Suzie Canida Shoemake. She attended Petty schools and was a lifetime employee of McCuistion Regional Medical Center. She married William Troy Pitcock March 28, 1953, in Hope, ARK. He died in October 1973. She then married Howard Sparks February 7, 1976, in Pattonville.

Surviving are her husband, Howard; five children, Janice Lee (Shelly) Morrison of Paris, Deborah Gail 'Debbie' (Steven) Jackson of Blossom, Mona Kay (Mike) Rector of Talco, Terry Lon (Mitzi) Pitcock of Paris, and Jerry Don (Joanna) Pitcock of Paris; one sister, Marie Boss of Paris; one niece, Judy Parsons of Paris; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Weir, Dub McKinney, Silas Taylor, Clay Morrison, Ray Morrison and Steven Kelley Jackson.

Honorary bearers will be Elvis Wright, Larry Kyle and Billy Joe Flynn.
