Ronnie Wayne Burke, 32, 1544 Pinola Avenue, died Saturday (July 25, 1992) at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in Baltimore, Md. and moved to Tennessee at an early age. He was employed at Tennessee Eastmen Company for the past 13 years in the Textile Fiber Division.
He attended Pleasant View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Burke.
Surviving are his wife, Joann Sampson Burke, of the home; two daughters, Amanda Burke and Kelly Burke, both of Kingsport, two stepsons, Stacy Gibson and Casey Gibson, both of Kingsport; his mother, Audrey Stoots Burke, Kingsport, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stoots, Bristol, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Debbie Walden, Bristol, Tenn., Mrs. Russell (Gail) Herrington, Tazewell, Va., and Mrs. Bill (Vickie) McGee, Spottswood, Va.; seven brothers, Dennis Burke, Baltimore, Md., Kenny Burke, Memphis, Rick Burke, Johnson City, David Burke, Robbie Burke, and Jerry Burke, all of Kingsport, and Randy Burke, Nickelsville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
