Lynn Baker, 55, 08 So. 5th died at a local hospital at 9:30 p.m., Monday. He was born May 31, 1898 in Fillmore County, Ohio. He had been a resident of Beatrice for the past 43 years. He was employed at the Platte Pipe Line Co. in Beatrice the past several months and had formerly been a painter in Beatrice most of his life. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Local 1215 painters union.

He is survived by his wife, Leva, Beatrice; six daughters, Charlott, Sharon, Darlene, Victoria and Jackie, all of Beatrice and Jerine of Salsbury, Mo.; two sons, Mitchell and John William, both of Beatrice; and his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Baker, Beatrice. Four brothers, LeRoy, Beatrice, Raymond, West Covina, Calif. Jon L., Kansas City, Mo., and Charles H., Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Larson, Chadron and Mrs. Glenn Coon, Elkhorn, Ia.; two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Griffiths Funeral Home.

BAKER---Funeral service for Lynn Baker will be 10 a.m. on Thursday at the First Christian Church. Rev. Wayne Green officiating. Burial in Evergreen Home Cemetery, Griffiths Funeral Home in charge.
