Tammy Jean Boeske, 36, of Chester NH, died on August 12, 2007, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen MA after a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer. She was born on July 12, 1971, in Exeter NH, daughter of Norman Simano, Sr., and Rosa L. (Byarlay) Eaton. Tammy was a lifelong resident of Chester. She was a graduate of Timberlane High School in Plaistow NH and had formerly been employed for 8 years with Presstek Co. in Hudson NH as an engineering assistant. Tammy was very involved with her sons' Boy Scouts in Chester, serving as a troop leader for several years. She was active in the State of New Hampshire Foster Parent Program. She attended walkathons and fund raisers for Breast Cancer Research and attended services at the Epping Bible Baptist Church in Epping NH. In her spare time, Tammy enjoyed scrap booking, cross stitching, and suduko. She was known to have a sweet tooth and especially loved chocolate and whoopi pies.

The family fondly remembered Tammy as a selfless person who devoted her life to her two sons. She will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Frieda (Reynolds) Ault, maternal grandfather Ervin E. Byarlay, paternal grandmother Jennie (Smart) Piper, paternal step-grandparents William and Doris (Robinson) Eaton, and her maternal step-grandfather Clifford Ault.

Tammy is survived by her sons Zachary and Nathan Boeske of Chester NH; mother and step-father Rosa and Franklin Eaton of N. Stratford NH; father and step-mother Norman Simano, Sr., and Della Simano of Bulls Gap TN; paternal grandfather Charles Piper of Apollo Beach FL; sister Roxanne D. Phillips; brother Norman Simano, Jr.; step-siblings Tabor Eaton, Tiler Eaton, Amy Place, Amber Brown, and April Gladson; former husband Steven Boeske; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
